NC disciplinary Committee expels Minister Gupta

KATHMANDU, April 10 – The Disciplinary Committee of the ruling Nepal Congress (NC) has expelled the Minister for Information and Communications Jayaprakash Prasad Gupta from the party membership for one year for his statement backing the statement made by the Chief of Army Staff General Prajwalla Shumsher JB Rana. However, Minister Gupta in his first reaction to this expulsion has hit out at party leadership, including Girija Prasad Koirala of taking revenge against him.  More to follow shortly
